Episode #37: Building the "Pinnacle" of Duck Boats with Jordan Erickson
Corey Lucas, Kaj Carlson and producer Clayton Beaird sit down in the Cedar Run Decoy Company studio with Jordan Erickson, founder and co-owner of Pinnacle Boat Co., specializing in custom fishing and duck boats made right here in southwest Michigan.
The guys talked through Jordan's childhood, building the work ethic and necessary experience through various jobs that included working on a golf course, helping his uncle wrench on hot rods, and being introduced to welding in a local fab shop. He carried his interests on to college at Ferris State University and Jordan explained how he was able to intertwine all of these skills and experiences into crafting high-quality custom boats.
It was a rewarding time getting to learn about how Jordan is building the literal "Pinnacle" of duck boats and we are excited to be alongside him as the Pinnacle Boat Co. grows!
