Episode 5 - My Two Greatest Fears
11/18/20 • 16 min
Imagine reaching the end of your life. You're standing before the throne room of God to give an account of your life, and one of two scenarios happens:
1) You look back and see all the potential. All the things you could have, and should have done. The things God has called you to, but you didn't do.
2) You look back and see all the accomplishments you've achieved. All the success, but none of what you've accomplished survives eternity - it was all meaningless.
Those two fears often paralyze me, but also propel me. This episode I read from an article I wrote in 2016 based on a personal journal entry. You can read the post here: https://www.seantambagahan.com/my-two-greatest-fears/

The general conflict is this: how do I pursue a financially successful business, and live a life of contentment and sacrifice while guarding against the temptation to love money and spend all I get on myself...
Three Tips to Stay Free From the Love of Money:
- Be Self-Aware

- Talk About it Often

Episode 6 - Theology
What place does theology have in the life of an entrepreneur?
I hold to the premise that theology is of utmost importance in the life of every believer, especially for us as Christian entrepreneurs. Unfortunately, many Christians have become bored, or apathetic, or even critical of theology. If we do not regularly renew our minds with the Scriptures and develop a deep sense of good theology, we will end up drifting into worldly expressions of how entrepreneurship looks like. The problem comes when Christian Entrepreneurs who are either disinterested or bored or apathetic towards theology start to engage in the world, they end up looking more like every other entrepreneur, and less like Christ.
