Episode #2 - Burns and Allen

An American comedy duo, Burns and Allen, was George Burns and his wife and partner, Gracie Allen. In September 1934, their 30-minute radio program premiered as The Adventures of Gracie, whose name changed to The Burns and Allen Show in 1936. From 1936 till 1950, the series switched back and forth between NBC and CBS until it was canceled. Burns and Allen reemerged on television with a successful situation comedy from 1950 to 1958.

Plot

Gracie reveals that she intends to run for President of the United States. Her cabinet is being designed. "My Chihuahua," Gracie sings. Gracie has announced her candidacy for President of the United States of America. She aspires to be the first female President of the United States. The more George harps on her about her unattainable goal, the more determined and convinced dear Gracie becomes... She's not the only one who thinks this way. She persuades the rest of the cast to support her by promising them jobs with the government.
