Often it can feel divisive to insist on specifics of Lutheran theology, after all, wouldn't it be easier to get along with others if we overlooked the things that make us different?
But if Christ was specific with His love for us, then we have an obligation to be specific in how we act out our love for others, in what we practice, believe, and teach.
