The Night most Celtics Fans have been waiting for. The 2016/2017 Season for most connected to the Celtics and for most Fans was not about winnning an NBA Championship. It was about getting the team in the right spot with the right assets and the right respect around the league from other players to be a major player to land some top NBA talent during the summer of 2017 to try and win it all in the 2017/2018 season. The Celtics will go into this summer with one of the top teams in terms of salary cap space. However their best chance to get a superstar to form a new big 3 with Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford might come via trade and tonight we find out what their best asset will be in those trade talks. Tonights the NBA Draft Lottery where the 14 teams who failed to make the playoffs will hope the balls bounce their way and land them a top 3 pick in this years NBA Draft. The Celtics thanks to the trade that became the gift that keeps on giving aka the Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Brooklyn trade. Have the Brooklyn Nets spot in this years NBA Draft Lottery and that spot just happens to be spot #1 meaning the Celtics will have the best chance of any team involved in tonights Lottery to win the #1 pick in the Draft. The Celtics due to being in the #1 spot are guaranteed to get at worst the #4 pick if the balls don't bounce their way. Celtics Talk Radio Episode 169 Celtics vs Wizards Game 6 Preview

Its game 6 between the Celtics and the Washington Wizards from Washington D.C.. The Celtics are in position to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and face Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers with a win tonight. The Celtics after being blow out games 3 and 4 in Washington returned to TD Garden to give the Wizards a whooping via the final score of 123-101 to take the 3-2 series lead and put the Wizards on the bring of elimination. The Celtics got a balanced offensive performance from their top 4 plays in game 5 as Crowder, Horford, Thomas and Bradley all score 18 points or more and outscored the entire Wizards starting lineup by 18 pts. The Celtics managed to finish off the Chicago Bulls on the road in 6 games and now will look to do it to the Wizards. Daniel and the rest of the crew will be joined by Rich Jensen. Celtics Talk Radio Episode 170 Celtics Cavs Eastern Conference Finals GM 2 Recap

The Celtics and Cavs have played games 1 and 2 of their best 4 out of 7 Eastern Conference Finals playoff series. The Cavs have dominated the Celtics in those 2 games and now lead the Eastern Conference Finals 2 games to 0. Both games saw the Cavs literally go up by over 30 points and end the game pretty much before the 4th quarter even arrived. Pretty much both games were a beatdown dealt by the Cavs. The Celtics fans now wait for what may be the most likely result which is for games 3 and 4 just to end and the series to end in a series sweep for Lebron and the Cavs. The Celtics on top of being at a major disadvantage in the series talent wise have also been at the disadvantage with the officiating as well. This led to frustrations for the Celtics taking place in game 2 where Isaiah Thomas and Brad Stevens were both T'd up for complaining about the fouls situation as Thomas was not getting any calls in his favor and it ultimately led to him suffering an injury in the 2nd quarter of game 2 and he was not able to return for the remainder of the game.
