Since then the Celtics also took on the Hornets, Pistons, Knicks, Lakers and are now in the middle of a home and home series with the Brooklyn Nets. So whats the latest on how the team is looking. Are they doing what all the top teams usually do which is take advantage of the teams they should beat or are they blowing some easy games in this stretch. What's up with Marcus Smart. Celtics Talk Radio episode 120 What to expect from the Celtics in February
Since the last episode of Celtics Talk Radio. The Celtics have played 7 games. First facing off with the Phoenix Suns at TD Garden. Then the Celtics took on a 6 day 3 game road trip. Making stops in Washington to face the Wizards. Then traveled to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. Then went up to Toronto to take on the Raptors. The Celtics then returned home to face off with the Chicago Bulls before going back off on the road for 2 games first in Philadelphia to face the 76ers and then another trip to Washington to face the Wizards on their court for the 2nd time in less then 2 weeks. Going into this stretch the Celtics had just snapped a 4 game losing streak by beating Paul George and the Indiana Pacers for the 1st time this season. The Celtics were just on outside of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference trailing the 8th seeded Orlando Magic by a 1/2 game after that win vs the Pacers. So the question is now did the Celtics right the ship. The players know that the NBA Trade Deadline is on the horizon and some are playing for their right to remain on the team as they know the Celtics will be buyers rather the Sellers at the trade Deadline this season due to all the assets Danny Ainge has in his back pocket. So did the Celtic's manage to get back on track and start rising up in the standings in the Eastern Conference. Or was the win against the Pacers just a fluke and the team is still having issues. Meanwhile with less then a month to go before the NBA Trade Deadline. What are the latest rumors coming out that Celtics fans will need to keep an eye out for. We will discuss those stories with Adam Lowenstein.
