Tara Daudani
Caught By Happy
10/21/19 • 54 min
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and who better to make you aware than someone who has kicked breast cancer’s ass? Tara Daudani was your average suburban mom, working a few freelance jobs and raising her young daughters. One night she felt something a little weird and immediately took action to find out what it was, get a diagnosis, and start treatment for eradicating it. She visits CBHpod to talk about her journey over the past year and a half - the uncertainty, the fight, and now survivorship. But she’s not just riding off into the sunset as a cancer-free woman. She’s working to ensure all women (and men) have the confidence to speak up when they feel something isn’t quite right with their body. And she’s making sure breast cancer patients have much needed resources available to them as they start their own journeys through chemo, radiation, surgery, and recovery.

James Pollack
Caught By Happy
12/09/19 • 53 min
James Pollack is a CPA, but this episode isn't about crunching numbers. It's about finding the confidence and motivation to start your own business. James began his own Charlotte, NC accounting firm after the tax returns he was doing for his friends turned into referrals, and those referrals turned into lucrative clients. Soon after, the money he was earning from his side-hustle was surpassing his 9-5 corporate job salary. That's when he buckled down and focused solely on building his own business. James chats with Matt about some of the obstacles he faced along the way, and offers advice to those who are thinking about branching out on their own entrepreneurial journey. He also talks about playing in ESPN's World Series of Poker - sharing the table with some big name players and coming close to walking away with the big prize.

Steve Koonce
Caught By Happy
10/07/19 • 53 min
Matt sits down - through the magic of Skype - with an old friend from his TV production days to talk about how he went from working in creative services, to starting a social media company, to becoming an author on Idaho beer brewing. Steve's a funny guy who has a lot - a lot - to say about everything and anything under the sun, from getting fired from a few TV stations to writing competing newspaper columns with former Detroit Lions quarterback Rodney Peete. He's an interesting fella, that's for sure.

Nicole Sergeyko from The Gloccult
Caught By Happy
03/30/20 • 49 min
if you’re the type of person who reads beauty blogs or has an interest in skin care products you might know Nicole Sergeyko from the beauty blog and Instagram account The Gloccult. Of course, Nicole had some growing up to do along the way. She had to learn that mom and dad couldn't keep paying her bills. Eventually, happiness - and success - came in the pursuit of doing what she loves.
