Singer, Voice Over Actress, and Entrepreneur Paloma Michelle says she’s about 5 feet tall, but, as this podcast episode proves: you can’t judge a star’s power by their petite appearance. Paloma Michelle is big! Specifically her voice! She was once asked to voice an Amazon warrior for a video game, and the casting team wasn't sure the pint-size star could pull it off. Of course she did! And, as you’ll find out, along with our young podcast host and curious journalist Cristina Areu, there’s not much Paloma Morales can’t do because she believes the key to success is to take chances and always try! Find out how this Latinx V.I.P. has been featured in popular video games, (Rage 2 & WasteLand 3), been the voice of Mattel toys, been part of the Playmobil movie, and even voiced one of Cristina’s favorite Monster High characters: Torelei. It’s not everyday that a young podcaster gets to interview one of her dolls ... and learn how anything is possible if we just are willing to give it a try!

Best of 2021 with a CATALINA Researcher (Sofia Areu) and Predictions with a CEO (Jack Hobbs)
The first podcast of 2022 is a look back at the best (and some meh 😒) of 2021 according to this episode’s special guest, Sofia Areu, the host of the new podcast "When I was a LatinX Kid.” You may have seen her in CATALINA Magazine, but Sofia is usually behind-the-scenes at CATALINA Stars researching anything of interest to the podcast’s listeners since 2019. Being a researcher is actually one of the most important jobs, and interesting careers, in media, news, and entertainment. Researchers need to know a lot about a lot. Sofia explains the methods she (and others in the industry) was taught for researching, and then shares her “Best-of” lists of movies, TV series, books, and podcast episodes for kids of all ages. Then, to celebrate 2022 properly, CEO Jack Hobbs stops by with some predictions and observations. He ends up making his company’s youngest podcaster cry! (Happy tears, of course.) Hear from a professional researcher; and then ride an intense rollercoaster of the best, the meh, and the thoughts on things to come ... all bundled up just for you!
