On today’s episode, young LatinX journalist Cristina interviews one of her favorite people: Tatiana Nader, known as the Makeup Artist to the Stars! Cristina first met her Tatiana years ago when she was invited behind the scenes at a TV studio to the makeup room. It was breathtaking! They say that’s where the real magic happens. And it’s true.

Tatiana showed Cristina, and reminds everyone now, that dreams involving these magical scenarios do come true. And choosing a career full of excitement, makeup, celebrities, music, fun, and so much more is possible!

Tatiana took a break from her busy work day working with Singer and Grammy-winner JBalvin as his long-time personal makeup artist to talk to Cristina & give listeners a look into her world of all things beautiful. Then, to celebrate 2022 properly, CEO Jack Hobbs stops by with some predictions and observations. He ends up making his company’s youngest podcaster cry! (Happy tears, of course.) CATALINA magazine’s youngest staffer launches her podcast with one of the most inspirational young Latinx stars on the Netflix hit show “The Healing Powers of Dude.” Mauricio Lara is living his dream and gives Cristina, and all of their peers, the scoop on how to do the same. Dog bites, fashion, and gaming is discussed as well. (His words of wisdom are awesome for kids of all ages, BTW!)

For the first time, Cristina is interviewing an award-winning, nationally-recognized teenage poet laureate, Isabella Ramírez — which is perfect, because this young CATALINA podcaster/journalist is a big poetry fan. Say, “Emily Dickinson,” and the iconic poet’s “I Am Nobody” may just be recited on the spot. Meeting and interviewing Isabella for this episode answers so many questions Cristina has for a poet laureate, like: 1. “How does someone just become a poet?” ... and 2. “Does an award-winning high school poet have to be angry or happy?” ... and 3. “What’s a poetry ‘chapbook’?” For your viewing pleasure (and more inspiration) the podcaster and the poet laureate, Cristina and Isabella, can be found as the two student presenters invited to speak for Palm Beach County School Districts in-line “9th annual Hispanic/Latino Virtual Summer 2021 Institute,” organized by Patricia Trejo. So this podcast just had to happen. The two student presenters had/have heard about each other, but one of the country’s largest school Districts helped make this podcast possible.
