Thank God (or Satan!), it's CASUALTY FRIDAY!
CASUALTY FRIDAY is the newest addition to the FANGORIA Podcast Network hosted by horror favorites Tiffany Shepis, Felissa Rose and Kane Hodder. Tiffany, of course, you know from Troma classics like Tromeo and Juliet. Felissa made her big screen debut as Angela in Sleepaway Camp. And Kane Hodder, well, you know him: Jason Voorhees, Victor Crowley and one of the greatest guys in the horror community. So, how did we get three horror favorites to do a podcast together? We locked them in the Fango Vault for 48 hours and put microphones in front of them! And, after we let them out, we found that what was recorded will go down in horror history. Tiffany, Felissa and Kane shared stories that they have NEVER told anyone before. Over the next eight episodes (exclusively on the FANGORIA Podcast Network), you’ll find that what they shared about their lives working in the horror genre is at times hilarious, raw, shocking ... and some stories may even bring a tear to your eye. In this first episode of CASUALTY FRIDAY, hosts Tiffany Shepis, Felissa Rose and Kane Hodder discuss how they got their start in the horror genre. Kane remembers being announced as Jason Voorhees for the first time, while at a FANGORIA Weekend of Horrors by the late, great John Buechler.
Tiffany recalls how she cut school and lied (twice!) about her age to get the role of Peter in TROMEO AND JULIET. And Felissa recounts her mom’s reaction to THAT scene in SLEEPAWAY CAMP (and so much more)!
In addition to discussing the beginning of their careers, the hosts talk about working on VICTOR CROWLEY together, they answer fans' burning questions, and (spoiler alert) SOMEONE gets a chainsaw to the head!
