Our caller with the great laugh has been procrastinating on some boring but critical work forms because things might not turn out so well. She has forgotten to consider that things might turn out really well, and there are things that she can do to increase the likelihood of this. Our caller is able to easily apply the new approach to her attitude about dating, as she notices what she is focused on, and what narrative she is creating.
Our minds look for evidence of what we believe to be true, and sometimes just taking a moment to really take stock of what we are assuming, what narrative we might have unconsciously chosen to follow and to consider other possibilities will make all the difference.
Watch how this shift in mindset impacts our caller's attitude on her job quest and man hunt! Okay, she isn't really on a man "hunt".
