Career Happy Mums: The Podcast

In this episode I chat to Wendy North who, working as a freelancer in events, found herself without work and therefore income, literally overnight when the first Covid pandemic lockdown came. Wendy found herself questioning would the world, and therefore her career, ever return to normal? Was working in the event industry even what she wanted for the next phase in her career?

Wendy shares how she navigated this uncertainty and how she made decisions on what was right for her and her family - which was not always what the rest of her network would have chosen or advised her to.

This conversation with Wendy provides some great insight, and advice and even touches on advice around making the decision (or not) to go self-employed.
