Establish your rental criteria (e.g. must earn 3 times monthly rent, no prior evictions).
Check that you're charging market rent, don't short change yourself!
Questions to ask previous & current landlord:
- How are you related to the applicant?
- How many pets do they have?
- How often would they pay late?
- Who all lived there with them?
- Why are they moving out?
- Would you rent to them again?
- Any other comments?
