This film set in the timeline of Batman the Animated Series is the first film in the DC Animated Universe to ever be created. It gives us a look at the origins of Batman as Bruce must choose whether to complete the vow he made to his parents or choose love and happiness, all while trying to save Gotham and clear his name when Batman is accused of killing members of the criminal elite.
