It only takes a little yeast to chemically alter and infect dough with CO2 air pockets. So it is with sin and distractions in our lives. Jesus warns His disciples, you and I, to not get caught up in hyper "religious", antagonistic, politically charged distractions. He called that the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod. It's important to know that society will never be right this side of heaven... not yet!
Seek first the kingdom of God, Jesus is the only Bread that can satisfy every hunger for those who would come to Him. Keeping our eyes on Him and His gospel message is crucial.
The question was asked... Are we building bridges towards Jesus or are our words & actions becoming barriers to Him instead. #filter&assess #GospelFood
