Bullet Proof Faith - Is believing in a young earth important? with Steve Schramm

Is believing in a young earth important? with Steve Schramm

Bullet Proof Faith

Hey Bullet Proof family! This episode is a little different and not part of any series. However, in past episodes we've briefly touched on the 'age of the earth' topic while providing a defense for the Christian worldview.
During some of those episodes we mentioned that there are Christians who believe in an old earth (though we do not). And although this issue can be debated among believers... we do think its important. More specifically, we want to look at why it is important to believe in a young earth? How does that impact one's theology? What does the Bible say?
Our special guest, Steve Schramm, has given this question a lot of thought. Steve has provided a framework, in the form of an easy to remember acronym, to help us think this through: A.D.A.M. Steve is the host of The Bible Nerd Podcast, and has worked with these types of questions on his show for several years.
Does the Bible's creation account teach a young earth, and why is it important to understand it that way?

A better way forward - Content Safe part 4

The last few episodes have been rough. But the dangers of internet, social media, and overall content consumption is something we have to take seriously parenting in this generation.
Now, let's think about a way forward. What can you do? How can you set up a different lifestyle that isn't dependent upon a screen? In this episode, Joel and Jordan discuss: tips, strategies, their coming summer plans, general guidelines, ideas for discipleship, and some suggestions for wholesome content to watch with your kids.
This episode is the "wrap up" to the Content Safe series. Hope it has been eye-opening and helpful at the same time.
