A little look into the future of cloud services, such as dropbox and mega, and how we will apply them for our own uses in the future. We will look at it evolution, and how this will condition the way these services present themselves in the future, as our mobile devices develop more and more functions. and the PC and the mobile device are closing ever more in on each other. Four example, right now, it is not possible for an iOS device to AirDrop wirelessly a file directly to a MacBook or an iMac. But an iPhone in iOS seven or upwards, can airdrop a file to an iPad in iOS seven. Eventually, the gap will be close, and one will not need to plug into iTunes with the cable using an iPad or iPhone. One will merely add drop it directly to the Mac or MacBook, directly from your iPad or iPhone. Hence, dropbox and such cloud services, will no longer be as necessary for the purposes we now use them for, but will most certainly continue to survive and provide us with a need for their services. How this will happen and how the way we will use their services is going to change as the web and the future and new technological advancements change the way we interface with all the software and hardware we will be surrounding ourselves with as of now and into the future is going to be presented here in this and the following podcasts. Eventually, these cloud storage services, will no longer be needed in the same way they are today by most people in the present moment, which is now 2014, most people use them as a method of transferring files from a mobile device, to the laptop, or desktop device at home. This is because there is still a gap between the mobile operating systems, and the desktop and laptop operating system is not yet integrated, And also, because they don't want to fill the gap, because they have not yet rentabilitized, all of the hardware they need to sell ,in order to allow us, to be rid of the need of that hardware.
