Bridging The Gap Between Generations Who Assume Things About Each Other

NOTE:
This is our final episode for 2021. We will be back in February with more generational assumptions after our winter break.
Welcome to Bridging the Gap Between Generations who Assume Things About Each Other, the podcast where your hosts Stephanie Wolfe and Karen Johnson-Diamond speak to people of different generations and breakdown assumptions. (We, as women in our 50s do not actually sit in bed all day knitting, and not all 13 year-olds play video games)
This week, Stephanie and Karen chat with our distant theatre third cousin Brendan Brown, a smart, wise human you will really enjoy. We did!
We jump from Star Trek to VHS to Jason Kenney to Croissants!
Stephanie does her best Sylvester Stallone impression!Links to help this episode make sense:
Those NFB shorts we talked about
The Log Driver's Waltz
The Big Snit
The Sweater
Faces
Black Fly
The Kids
Here is Brendan's Instagram so you can see his really expensive photography hobby pics! WittakerSmithBrown

(We, as women in our 50s do not actually sit in bed all day knitting, and not all 13 year-olds play video games)
This week, Stephanie and Karen chat with 7 year old CC and 5 year old Shep.
Nicknames are a part of every generation. Karen used to be called Shnigglefritz as a kid and Stephanie was nicknamed Shnork , but both of them think they are Batman (they aren't).
There are lots of impressions/impersonations in this episode. And Karen was reminded that words like" impressions" and "impersonations" might need to be defined to young folk.
Flying!
Harry Potter
genius headphone/toque combos!
