Breakaway Wealth Podcast

In This Episode:

There is a lot of evidence that a plant-based diet is a healthier way to eat, and people nowadays have the opportunity to introduce plant-based foods into their diet in ways they may never have considered before. Fast-food corporations such as McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and many others are starting to introduce plant-based options to their menus and more and more grocery stores are expanding their frozen sections to accommodate more plant-based meals. But do plant-based foods actually live up to the hype? Is it really possible to transition from an animal-based diet to a plant-based one? This week’s guest is here to talk more about the plant-based industry and his experience growing a business in the sector.

Jim Pakulis is the leader of the trillion-dollar shift from animal-based to plant-based protein. He is the CEO and Chairman of Boosh Plant-Based Brands Inc., a plant-based, non-GMO, gluten-free provider of heat-and-eat meals that suit any budget and preference. They offer a range of refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable options and there are now 600 stores throughout Canada alone. He joins Jim on the podcast this week to share more about his business journey in emerging industries such as this one, what he believes is causing this transformation and move from animal-based to plant-based protein, and some of the amazing benefits that come from incorporating plant-based products into your diet.

The plant-based industry is significantly growing, and Jim only envisages it expanding further in the future. He shares the reasons for such rapid growth, why he thoroughly enjoys this righteous, moral and humane approach to business and his thoughts on the future of the industry. With the growing number of incredible plant-based options available, people are now getting creative with their eating patterns and trying delicious meals they may never have previously eaten, so he shares how to make the most of the plant-based meals available to you in your supermarket, and his advice for anybody looking to get onto this train from either a business, financial, or personal standpoint. Plant-based meals are accessible, the price is great, and the taste is arguably even better than animal-based products. Is there really a reason not to try plant-based food?
