HOW TO GET YOUR GREEN CARD THROUGH MARRIAGE Here’s how to get your green card through marriage to a US citizen: In short, you need to show a bureaucrat at USCIS that your marriage isn’t fraudulent or, in other words, that you didn’t get married just to get a green card And you do THAT by submitting A LOT of persuasive evidence that your marriage is in fact bona fide and legitimate, such as: * a joint lease, rental agreement, mortgage or some other proof of living together * photos of your wedding, and other photos of the two of you with family and friends * shared bank accounts, credit card accounts, or other financial accounts * statements from close friends and family members who can attest to the legitimacy of your marriage * shared life and/or health insurance policies * birth certificates of children you had together (if any) * a pre-nuptial agreement, or * anything else you can muster up to show that you have a shared life together as a married couple This is Joseph Bovino, US immigration and business attorney Let me know what you think in the comments below, and follow for more #greencard #greencardmarriage #greencardlawyer #immigrationlawyer #immigration #fyp
