Would a professional robbery crew rent a getaway vehicle in their own name? Would it be difficult to get rid of another vehicle, that contained a mask and deposit slips? Probably not but, that is what this crew did, it appeared that booze and cocaine had gotten the best of the "Boston Bandits". The code of silence was broken, if it ever really existed. Brother would soon testify against brother. The murderous Hudson N.H. robbery would imprison the crew, but it was not the last robbery, nor the last shootout. The FBI would use a novel prosecution strategy for this group. The feds used the RICO statute to bring this crew to justice. Most of the crew received life sentences. The least of the sentences was more than thirty years in federal prison. Was it all worth it, to die in the joint...broke?

A double homicide of armored car guards in 1994, revealed a professional crew of armed robbers from, Charlestown, Mass. The investigation that followed found an unrelenting string of bank and armored car robberies, that continued, even after this botched robbery that netted $500,000. The trial crushed the code of silence that the criminals had counted on, if it truly existed at all. The murder of two working class guards turned the local population against the crew. The trial would find brother testifying against brother. These events would rock gritty Charlestown and the rest of Boston. Don not miss this two part series.

Karen Read Update- Red flags in the Read Case and Turtleboys arrest

Send us a text

During today's episode we'll go over some red flags in this case and the arrest of Turtleboy, Aidan Kearney. Aidan was arrested for domestic violence and witness intimidation and is currently being held in jail, awaiting a bail review. I believe he'll likely be released with restrictions on his reporting, in the coming days, however this is exactly what the Commonwealth of Massachusetts desired.
There are many aspects of this case that don't fit the Commonwealth's narrative, including the fact that the state police did not use their own accident reconstruction unit to examine the vehicle and crime scene, a police officer was killed and you don't pull out every stop in getting to the bottom of this tragic case?
Don't forget the fact that the lead investigator in this case, knew potential perpetrators and direct witnesses, for years, in fact there is video of the trooper dancing with them at a wedding. So many aspects of this case simply defy the laugh test. If you're a tax payer, it seems the joke is on you.
