A couple of quick notes... Around 20ish minutes in I refer to focusing in on "one area of conversation." I should have said "one area of concentration." Sorry about that.
Also, for anyone interested in how my people watching session at the football game went... well, it didn't. When my son was on the field I was too busy worrying about him getting hit to really relax and observe well, and I spent the time he was on the sidelines being grateful he didn't get hit and have a concussion. Perhaps next time I want to people watch at a football game I need to go to one my kids aren't playing in.

This week I share some of my field notes on The Woman King and the Indianapolis Symphonic Orchestra's performance of a Brahms concerto. Then I get a little pissy about racial inequality in the arts. Enjoy.
