Ep97: Crossroads of Twilight, Chapters 9 - 12

We're in it now, friends. The stretch of chapters that have alwasy to me represented the concept of the slog.

And I'm happy to report, I didn't mind them. But at least one of us has very strong feelings about the chapters and the book, and we explore that with vigor!

We touch base with Faile who is fending off adversity on every front.

Then we join Elayne and aviendha as they go about the business of managing the Kin, Windfinders and Aes Sedai. During a siege. While trying to gain support for the crown. And then a bath happens and more Seafolk rudeness.

Ep98: Crossroads of Twilight, Chapters 13 - 15

And we're back! Ready to tackle the political intrigue of Andor, as well as the concept of "The Slog".

In these chapters Elayne meets the young High Seats of the houses Dyelin has managed to recruit for Elayne's claim to the throne before she gets her reports from her spy-masters-in-all-but-name: Reene Harfour and Halwin Norry!

Later she is visited by Monaelle and Sumeko to practice a pregnancy weave and they sense the cleansing event end.

We then cut to a rare POV from Elenia Sarand, the captive Andoran noble who is being controlled by Arymilla but who has her own plans.

We also get a POV from Daved Hanlon as he meets with Falion and Milli Skane to give us some insights into their machinations...
