It’s the sixty-first episode of On The List with Brett Gursky. This week's guest Soleil Moon Frye talks all about her life as both an actress and a documentary filmmaker. She first came into our lives as the lovable “Punky Brewster” in 1984, starring in the hit NBC series for 4 successful seasons. Now, “Punky Brewster” is back with an all-new reboot (or “continuation”) on Peacock, premiering February 25th. If that’s not enough, Soleil also took her own personal home video footage from the ‘90s and turned it into a documentary called “Kid 90”, which premieres March 12th on Hulu. Soleil takes Brett back to the beginning, telling him how she got her start in show business, including the very first “Punky Brewster” audition. She talks about working with her original “Punky Brewster” castmates, including George Gaynes, Susie Garrett, and Cherie Johnson, who is back for the reboot. Also starring in the reboot: Freddie Prinze Jr. as Punky’s ex-husband.
