I always tell brand new raw beginners who come to me for help, you must know what you want to get out of trading the financial markets before you do anything or study anything. What is the reason you are considering doing this business?

Do you know or have any idea what you are getting yourself into? You must be prepared to go into the live markets with the best market participants in the world. What? You thought you were going to be in there alone?

The market is a game; the competition is world-class and is of universal proportions. The beginner self-directed retail investor or trader has an enormous handicap, they often aren’t even aware they are playing a game; let alone what the rules are.

The smart money are the makers of the market, hence the deciders of the rules in the live market, and it is as I said, competition at the absolute highest level. Why, because it involves money, looots of it!

If you are not prepared to compete at a universal level you should probably stay out of the live markets with your hard earned real money. This episode is going to tell you what you need to compete and win in today’s volatile and competitive markets.

As a brand new investor and trader with zeroknowledge of the business you are at a loss as to what information you actually do and do not need. The brand new raw beginner trader is who I started the podcast for. The newbie who is just thinking about getting into the business of making money with money but has zero experience and is start off from zero knowledge.

I can save you a lot of learning curve time and also a lot of unnecessary stress and loss of your hard earned money if you can just pay attention to what I am telling you NOT to do.

Much of what the current trading education industry (which, by the way, is not regulated in any way by a formal governing body) is putting out is not only giving you information that is all backwards, it is very unrealistic to do in the live markets, and can get you into a lot of trouble.

Brand new investors and traders waste a serious amount of valuable education and training time on learning information that will not do them any good and can even cause them to lose some of their hard earned money right away in the live markets. No one wants that however it is a huge mistake that brand new traders make because they don’t know any better. Now you do!
