Bede Vs. The Living Dead Episode 6 - Night Of The Living Dead: Reanimated (2009) and A Chemical Skyline (2010)

Hey, everyone! Welcome to episode 6 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. The podcast where your host Bede Jermyn explores the remakes, re-edits, reimaginings, homages, unofficial follow-ups and more to George A. Romero’s 1968 classic Night Of The Living Dead across all media.

Apologies for the one week delay on this episode of the show. Originally this one was going to be on the films Night Of The Living Dead 3D (2006) and its prequel Night Of The Living Dead: Re-Animation 3D (2012) that was mentioned at the end of the previous episode but due to scheduling conflicts between myself and my guests, we weren't able to record that in time for its due date. Don't worry, that episode will be coming very soon in the future. In the meantime though, your host Bede has some exciting stuff to talk with the two other NOTLD related films he has arranged for this episode: the 2009 experimental animated film Night Of The Living Dead: Reanimated and the 2010 short film A Chemical Skyline (how does it connect to the NOTLD? You'll have to listen to find out!).

Joining Bede to discuss this animated feature and short film is first-time guest & long-time friend Beatrix Harper (owner/writer of Goodness Bea). Highlights in this episode include Bea telling us about when she first saw the original NOTLD, discussing the many different animations styles for Night Of The Living Dead: Reanimated, which type of animation couldn't help but make Bede laugh every time it was onscreen, whether A Chemical Skyline does work as a short film overall, the one character who annoyed Bede, wonder whether the film's connection to the world of NOTLD is a fun or unnecessary edition and so much more.
