05/14/25 • 50 min
In this powerful episode of Everything You Need to Know About Being a Firewalk Instructor, Master Trainers Lisa Clifford (https://lisaclifford.co.uk/firewalk-instructor-training/) and Barry Collins (https://kickashfirewalks.co.uk/) come together to share why the arrow break must never be taught online in under an hour. They speak from decades of experience, deep lineage, and a fierce love for the integrity of transformational work.
Together, they explore:
- The dangers of shortcut empowerment
- Why embodiment and in-person presence matter
- The importance of group learning, non-rescue facilitation, and psychological safety
- How language, anchors, music, and subtle cues shape lasting change
- Why the fire is the silent teacher behind every empowerment tool
This is not just about protecting the work ... it’s about protecting the people. This conversation is a rally cry for real training, real leadership, and real transformation.
If you’re meant to lead, do it right.
Barry’s next Firewalk Instructor Training: September (Scotland)

Life's Potent Moments. Jules Wyman
Jules Wyman is a speaker and coach who loves to shatter the illusions around confidence.
Her talks and coaching have been described as insightful, empowering, refreshingly raw and grounded. Jules is known for speaking with authentic self-belief. But life hasn’t always been that way.
For far too many years she thought the elusive treasure of confidence was something others had. You were either born with or not. It appeared to pop up at random times and leave just as swiftly. As there was no way to control how she felt, she just had to ‘get by’ with what she had.
So, she learnt the art of acting as if she felt confident. She faked feeling comfortable and pretended her way through presentations, meetings or interviews. This phoney way of working and living was just too hard. Jules decided that there had to be another way and felt guided to explore the topic of confidence.
She now shares her discoveries with clients and audiences around the world, dispelling many of the common held myths - myths that hinder rather than help the growth of confidence and that only leave you craving more temporary and meaningless fixes. Jules now knows, without doubt, that living with authentic confidence is possible and has made it her purpose to ensure others experience it too.
Her clients include; Nestle, Swarovski, NHS England as well as many private clients from all walks of life.
She has appeared on BBC radio and TV and was also the top female in Britian’s Next Top Coach.
