In the 68th episode of Be Real, I will be joined by Sean O’Rourke, a coach, speaker, and the owner of Bearded Property Investors and Simple Home Exitz. He is also the founder of the 90 Days To Escape Your 9-5.

Sean is a cool hustler and has an inspiring rags to riches story. He lived a crazy abusive life when his parents split up, and lived with an alcoholic stepfather. He dropped out of high school and his life had no direction. The things that happened in his life placed him in the path of negativity, and he grew tired of it.

Trying to fix his life, he decided to go back to school and got a 2-year diploma on Associates Degree. He got into a manufacturing company where he worked as a maintenance man and worked his way up to becoming the plant manager at the age of 28. He was making good money and earning 90 grand per year, but still hit rock bottom. He lived from paycheck to paycheck because his earnings are set for his bills.

He had a huge shift in mindset, and he wanted to know how to make money in Real Estate, so educated himself by watching YouTube videos. He invested his Real Estate profits on masterminds, mentorship, and networking. He wanted to be surrounded by people who know more about the business and learn how to invest. And since then, he realized how much time he wasted with the wrong mindset he’s had most of his life. With the major shift in mindset, he went from zero to 36 sales in RE.

If there are things I’d like you to listen to, it’s his wisdom, perseverance, and mindset, which made him an 8-figure business owner. I am truly honored to have had this opportunity to interview such an inspiring man.

Make sure you listen to these tracks:

02:58 - Living a crazy abusive life

03:32 - Living in negativity

08:19 - The major mindset shift

09:44 - Investing in self-growth

10:22 - “I’ve wasted 15-18 years of my life with the wrong mindset of how truly you’re supposed to live. It was all because I wasn’t taught.”

15:10 - “We can all hustle and make money, but the honest true value is the time you can’t get back.”

38:23 - How consistency became the key

In the 68th episode of Be Real, I will be joined by Zach Mathers, a recovery life coach, speaker, and the founder of Braving The Journey. He is helping people realign their lives and be the best that they can be.
In this episode, we are going to talk about life rebuilding, and the best ways to convert bad habits into good ones. Zach is someone that has always chased his dreams. At a young age, he started a non-profit organization filming stories of suffering in injustice around the world to help bring exposure to situations no one was aware of. This helped shift his worldview and have more love and compassion for others around him. Zach has always sought to encourage others and help them live out their full potential.
Along the road of helping others, Zach found himself struggling with alcohol and the shame attached to it. He dove into counseling and a road of discovering the roots behind his addiction and the resources he needed to stay sober. Through that journey he had to address the shame he felt from his actions in life. Realizing the paralyzing power of shame Zach now works to coach others and bring hope to people that are stuck in their own shame and addictions.
Zach now takes what he has learned in his recovery and coaches people toward sobriety and changing their lives. He believes that everyone needs to look at the root of the problem. Zach has crafted a unique way to guide people to discover their true identity and help coach them in becoming free and living into their identity.
Make sure you listen to these tracks:

02:54 - Started building his life at the age of 21

In the 70th episode of Be Real, I will be joined by Cody May, the CEO of Studio PTBO, a full service marketing and coaching business that helps real estate agents & entrepreneurs attract more leads, book appointments, and convert those leads to clients.

Cody is a grounded and very mature individual for his age and has a very inspiring journey. He grew up with a religious Christian family, and he took up Theology when he decided he wanted to be a pastor. He wanted to be a youth pastor and help teenagers live good life.

He had to move to a different city to continue his Theology studies and work at the same time. He was working at Future Shop, a Canadian electronics store chain where he was a cellphone salesman. Then in his fourth year in Theology, he traveled a lot and he started questioning things. He realized that the world is a lot bigger, and it changed his ideologies and shifted his perspective.

He found a mentor and he wrote down what he said, modeled what he did, and mirrored what he said. Cody was a hardworking student and knows what he wants. He is a learner by heart and is always hungry for more. He is a firm believer that self-growth is the best investment a person could make, so he encourages everyone to do the same. He reached where he is now because of his willingness to learn, his heart to help others, and of course, his parents who supported him all the way.

If there’s one thing I’d like you to listen to, it’s his passion to grow and make others grow. I am truly honored to interview such a badass entrepreneur.
