Why the Beatles Loved… the Monkees? With Special Guest Andrew Sandoval
The creators behind the Monkees’ hit television series (and the band itself) hoped to establish an American Beatles - although the band’s critics would often refer to them as the “Pre-Fab Four.” While much of the music community despised the Monkees, the Beatles... actually loved them. Join us as we explore why with Grammy-nominated producer, historian, and author Andrew Sandoval, whose new book chronicles the Monkees’ entire career from the birth of Peter Tork in 1942 to the very last day of 1970.
Reservations/orders for Andrew Sandoval's book are now closed.
