Skin of the Teeth with Vetnough

Dark Pop, Synthwave...call it what you want, but VETNOUGH (Julia Powell) is hard to define and all the better because of it. A table spoon of PJ Harvey, a cup of Depeche Mode, a sprinkling of Fiona Apple to taste (with a Joy Division garnish, ok I'll stop). Our producer, Michael Sinclair, said you should interview my girlfriend and what a happy accident that turned out to be. Worlds away from the punk/metal lane I normally stay in...her music is just objectively rad. We chatted about how informed her music is by cinema, how her Mother's work in ballet laid the groundwork for her to follow her passion and what it's like to be in a relationship with another creative.
