Personal Trainer to the stars, Angelea "Wewa" Waygood stopped by to discuss the plight of the Italian American in Tampa Bay, cheering for the Bucs, her life in fitness and personal training, the evolution of the fitness industry and she's able to juggle that with marriage and motherhood. Wewa (my wife's cousin) is a superhero and badass to boot. Stay tuned!

ANYWAY, BLADE OF SURTR's Andrew "Achilles" DiMestico came back by to play us his new single "Thrown of Ice" off his new album VIOLENT NATURE, and to talk about the other 4 albums he's putting out through his Blade of Surtr and Achilles projects. Andrew is as talented and heartfelt as he is prolific. A great dude putting out amazing art. I just love him. Stay tuned while I focus on growing out something to hide this mug.

Dark Pop, Synthwave...call it what you want, but VETNOUGH (Julia Powell) is hard to define and all the better because of it. A table spoon of PJ Harvey, a cup of Depeche Mode, a sprinkling of Fiona Apple to taste (with a Joy Division garnish, ok I'll stop). Our producer, Michael Sinclair, said you should interview my girlfriend and what a happy accident that turned out to be. Worlds away from the punk/metal lane I normally stay in...her music is just objectively rad. We chatted about how informed her music is by cinema, how her Mother's work in ballet laid the groundwork for her to follow her passion and what it's like to be in a relationship with another creative. I'll be posting a companion playlist and we even checked out her new single "Skin" that comes out this Friday.

Local Skateboarding Phenom and Instagram Sensation, Keenan "Keezo" Lewis stopped by the studio today to talk about the early days picking it up from his older brother Will, to today skating for Skatepark of Tampa and being sponsored by Chocolate Skateboards, Adidas, Spitfire Wheels, Thunder, HUF, etc. Legend has it his understated confidence and resolve has him crushing competitions, helping the SPoT team pickup first place in this years Clash of the Crews.
