This is a fun time travel movie even if the majority of the time they are traveling back and forth between an indistinguisable 1994 and 2004. This is much more story-driven than typical JCVD fare, but it's a great movie and a lot of fun, with a great payoff in the final 30 minutes. Give it a watch and then come join us to pull it apart.

The movie based on a trading card (which is always a great basis for a movie) was a huge box office flop when it came out. Even though there were thousands of kids who liked the Garbage Pail Kids, they couldn't get them to come see the movie. The truth is it was doomed from the start by a horrible plot (they form a sweat shop to meet a teenage girls demand for a fashion show) or animatronic heads that don't work (nightmare fuel).
