Get original documents (plus certified copies of important documents) while you are still in your country of origin. Start now. Today, I went downstairs and took out the massive folder with all of our immigration documents. Some of these I had to obtain while I already lived in Canada. Save time and effort -- get them now. Good records and documentation will speed up your immigration process.
