Upon further investigation, she found that the lake had been treated with dangerous chemicals that cause cellular death, intended to eliminate invasive weeds. This revelation led Tara and her husband to develop a solution to remove these weeds without resorting to harmful chemicals – a 12-foot vessel capable of removing 500 pounds of biomass per minute.
