ART VOX – Series 1: Western Connections Episode 4: Ana Young, Painter

A series of interviews and chats with artists and arts workers who have some kind of rural or regional connection.

17 July 2018 Ana Young is an interdisciplinary artist who likes to work across drawing, painting and sculptural installations. Her work has been displayed in the Tom Bass Scuplture Prize, the Dobell, Fisher’s Ghost and Kedumba Awards and at Chalkhorse Gallery in Sydney. Most recently her work was displayed as part of the Bush to Bay: Hinton and the Artists’ Camps exhibition at Mosman Art Gallery. Coming soon, you can see her work as part of another group exhibition at the Broadhurst Gallery, which is part of the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery. 25 Aug – 04 Sept. 2018. Ana has a studio in Hill End and has produced various works there over the years.
