Chris and Jamie Bailey use their journey of overcoming dysfunction to offer real hope and practical tools to other couples through their podcast, courses, and social media, showing that you're never "too far gone" for God to redeem your situation.
"It's not the problems that take you out in your marriage. It's what you do with them. It's how you choose to handle them. And dealing with chronic pain, I can allow that to depress me, defeat me, and just give me this negative mindset, which is not easy to give into, but that's not what I choose to do. The Lord says I can have joy despite my circumstances, and that's what I'm going to fight for."
Chris and Jamie Bailey are Christian counselors and marriage coaches passionate about helping couples live their best lives together. They are the founders of Expedition Marriage, where they encourage and equip marriages to reflect the love, grace, forgiveness, and vitality they were made to have.
Chris and Jamie Bailey's marriage began in dysfunction, but through Jesus and personal growth, they have been able to transform their relationship and help others. Through their ministry, they have been giving practical tools and messages of hope to couples all over, helping them to recognize that their marriage is a journey and that God is still good even when hard times come. God has redeemed their situation and given them a passion for helping others, and they are determined to spread the message of hope to all.
In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. How did Chris and Jamie’s marriage start in dysfunction and evolve into a story of redemption?
2. What practical tools do Chris and Jamie offer to couples on their journey of marriage?
3. How can men overcome fear and insecurity to participate in their families and marriages?
