We have learned that expressing extraordinary love to one another is not only important for a thriving marriage, but is also a way to demonstrate God's love to the world. Through the Bible passage of 1 Corinthians 13, we found three practices to level up our love: patience and kindness, forgiveness, and building endurance. By doing these things, we can enjoy our marriage, rather than just enduring it.
"Love takes no pleasure in other people's sin, but delights in the truth. It's always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end."
In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. That Valentine's Day is actually Valentine's Week.
2. What the Bible says about how we should love each other.
3. How we take our love to the next level and move from mundane to masterpiece.
And as a bonus...The Valentines gift that James gave to Lisa that earned James a pass on Valentines for the rest of their marriage...

Ted Lowe reveals a startling truth about the secret to a great marriage--that it's not the opposite of a struggling marriage, but something different--he embarks on a journey to help couples shift their thinking and focus on the positive to experience true marital bliss.
"It's so great to have people in this space like you guys that are co champions, that we're both going after the same thing. We want to help couples and just every time I'm with you guys, I am encouraged just to keep going."
Ted is a speaker, blogger, and the director of Married People, the marriage division of Orange, a nonprofit organization devoted to influencing those who influence the next generation. Ted is also the author of a New Marriage book, Us in mind how changing your thoughts can change your marriage.
Ted Lowe had always been passionate about helping couples, but he noticed a pattern: some couples would take the advice he gave and change their marriage, while others would just hear it and do nothing. He was determined to find out why and discovered a powerful truth: the happiest couples were those who thought the best of their spouses. Ted then set out to write a book about it, and in the process discovered the power of intentional thoughts and positive illusions. After teaching this material to couples, he found that his simple exercise of asking people to think about what their Abba Father would say to them was liberating. He was so glad he'd taken the time to write the book and help couples find true joy in their marriages.
In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. What do couples who are really doing well do differently?
2. How can we shift our thinking to better align with God's desires for us?
3. What are some techniques to help couples focus on what they love about their spouse rather than what they don't?

Experience the power of spiritual intimacy in marriage and learn to trust God's divine plan when He tells you to "go" with Danielle and Howard's story.
"God gave us a very specific template in how to nurture marriage and serve in the marriage space, because we found through Facebook Live, it was like a great litmus test to the fact that people were hungry and they needed some advice, and oftentimes they needed it silently. We would do videos. It was like, no comments and no engagement, because they don't want to put their own marriage on blast publicly, but they listen in silence and get fed in silence, which was beneficial."
Howard and Danielle Taylor met in college in 2001 and have been married since 2005. They have committed to breaking the legacy of divorce in their families and are passionate about helping other couples build healthy marriages through their ministry, Marriage on Deck.
Howard and Danielle connected by chance at a college Bible study. In that moment, they both knew they'd found something special in each other. Despite a difficult upbringing, Howard had always wanted to have a strong marriage, and found it in Danielle. To strengthen their relationship and faith, they fast together quarterly and at the end of each year. After a week of fasting, God told them to move their family to Duluth, Georgia, and their faith was rewarded when an email arrived that same night confirming the move. Through this experience, Howard and Danielle learned the power of fasting and how to build spiritual intimacy in their relationship.
In this episode, you will learn:
1. How to form a spiritually intimate relationship with your spouse
2. How to use fasting to draw closer to God
3. How to act on a call from God to move into a new season.
