Are You Okay!?

TRIGGER WARNING: GRIEF, LOSS, MISSING PERSONS & MENTAL HEALTH! Tene is overwhelmed to be joined by her dear friend Hayden Withers as he shares his remarkable journey with grief. To continue with the theme of "levelling up" this season we need to learn to heal and face our traumas; a heavy subject Tene has yet to dive into on her podcast - don't worry we manage to laugh a little! Hayden experienced sudden loss at the age of 21 and can confidently share his road to recovery with us 4 years later. Born and raised in New Zealand, he successful immigrated to the United States and is joining us from New York City! Right before Hayden obtained his green card as an "artist of extraordinary ability" he was stricken with grief when he suddenly lost his sister in an unimaginable way. Hayden unpacks how this loss not only impacted his relationship with the performing arts but his entire world; the crippling numbness and the inability to feel any happiness at all. The pandemic provided Hayden with a full stop that he is forever grateful for and he is not afraid to talk about it. He also shares the key differences between his grief then and his grief now; inspiring the podsters to face their traumas and find beauty in their grief. Tene is forever grateful that Hayden has chosen her platform to bring awareness to this topic and create a safe space for all. He is also killing it on his latest endeavour; a facet of the industry he never thought he'd find himself in. Listen to be moved and of course; levelled up! Hayden's DMs are always open!

22. Bootcamp Babes & Big Moves FT Chloe Bardos

Tene is finally here with an in person guest who just so happened to grow up down the street from her; introducing Chloe Bardos from "Chloebar Fitness" podsters! Tene and Chloe grew up dancing together and she is the one responsible for kicking Tene's ass during the pandemic with her iconic fitness challenges. Chloe is moving to across the country to open "Barry's Bootcamp Vancouver" and she is here to tell us all about it. We cover a lot of ground this episode and Chloe unpacks how she stumbled into a Barry's class a couple of years ago in NYC and low key manifested the sh*t out of it! From a jam packed sports schedule as a child to booking Moulin Rouge as a principal dancer in Paris to starting her own business during the pandemic; Chloe doesn't leave out anything! The girls work backwards in Chloe's journey and it is the ultimate levelling up success story! Enjoy as these two babes level up, inspire each other and laugh about a drunken endeavour.

24. Knowledge is Power FT Anie Rouleau

Congrats Podsters!!! You have officially completed the levelling up process. We are closing out Season 2 with one of Tene's favourite topics; THE ENVIRONMENT aka the climate crisis and the changes we have the ability to make TODAY! We have Anie Rouleau; the founder & owner of THE UNSCENTED COMPANY (women-owned & B CORP certified) based out of Montreal, QC joining us on the podcast today. "The Unscented Company" is rewriting the narrative surrounding "clean" - what can be clean for our bodies can also be clean for the environment. Anie is here to share her story and her business mission that arose after working in the states for many years and then travelling the world for an entire year at the age of 34. She could easily see the common denominator of the climate crisis within each country and made it her life's mission to reduce our plastic footprint. These ladies also get deep about how important it is to stay true to yourself and your life's goals; a common theme on the podcast! Find out Anie's biggest challenges as a female entrepreneur, what is the main disconnect between consumers that care and consumers that don't, and what it's like to start a family at 40! Tene also reveals her latest endeavour; performing again!?!? AND the podsters are invited along for the ride! Thank you again for another awesome season! We have FULLY levelled up.
