Episode 1 - Angels United - Much More Than Just A Football Club

Our first episode where we tell you all about Angels United and what we are all about.

Co hosted by two of our co-founders Olly & Aaron this is the first episode of what is going to be a bi weekly podcast series touching on all aspects of baby & child loss.

Founded in October 2020 by a group of fathers who have all lost a child Angels United FC is much more than just a football club. Not just for dads but for the whole family as it isn’t just fathers who are affected, it’s mothers, siblings & family who also experience the grief and that’s our ethos, being a source of support for all those people.

Angels United is aimed at supporting families who have lost a child. We want all people from different backgrounds, cultures, religions to feel that they can approach us with confidence when they are looking for that something positive in a time of darkness.

Football is a powerful social tool it can bring people together regardless of age, background or ability and we are using football to tackle the stigma of men’s mental health while helping all members of your family recover from losing a child. We aren’t just about having a kick about we are more than that we have a strong togetherness giving people someone to talk to, someone who will always listen and who may be able to offer some advice as they have been through what you have.
