Sisters are doing it for charity this season of All Stars, and the stakes have never been lower! But honestly, it’s kind of nice to just watch a variety show for the next couple months, especially with a cast this solid. Episodes 1 and 2 both dropped in the wee hours of the morning so we’re covering both in a supersized episode this week. We got two hours of familiar faces reading, singing, dancing, sewing, painting, literally painting, lip syncing and scissoring one another and we can’t really complain, except maybe it could have been shorter? (Here comes that Change.org petition.) We’d like to know so much more about Shannel’s Christmas house. Also, Roxxxy Fucking Andrews, a very important moment of appreciation for Shelly Williams, a look back at our own art histories, a potential Jump in the Line bracket and the power of a hanky.

The cast includes Buffy Summers, Tracy Flick, Joshua Jackson with a box dye job, a cadre of older character actresses in supporting roles, a Tara Reid cameo, Selma Blair casually stealing the movie and even Eric Mabius as the Gregster. Plus Ryan Philippe’s butt, the spittle string when Kathryn and Cecile famously French kiss in the park, a soundtrack with zero skips, and a deeply satisfying female empowerment ending to the tune of “Bittersweet Symphony.”

We get twice the tickled ivories this week when two Liberaces show up on Snatch Game of Love. Personally, we have dibs on Marla Gibbs and whatever she’s got in that shoulder bag.
