Instead of hashing out old fights while perched on stadium arranged bar stools on either side of the stage, the queens of Season 16 are reuniting to face off in a lip sync bracket for $50,000 and, in Megami’s case, a total rudemption arc. It’s a brand new stage (from Secret Celebrity Drag Race?), a playlist of top tier lip sync songs, Bruno just happy to be there, some girl in the audience high off her heels, and an opportunity for the top three to sit back and be judgey gays in the workroom while the best of the rest put on one of the most entertaining episodes of Drag Race ever.

Roxxxy Andrews more than earns her commission in the final minutes of this week’s episode. After a series of real estate commercials that weren’t necessarily fighting off bidders, some workroom drama about Florida accents, Jorgeous's Mommy and me moment on the runway and a pretty hairy lip sync, an anguished blind crab walk was just what this episode needed to continue to sell us on this absurd telethon pitting charities against one another. Also, the Teletubbies show up and we have some very strong opinions on real estate agency branding, silly straight boys and of course, Shannel.

The workroom becomes a writers retreat this week as the top four put pen to paper, photo to book cover and personality to podcast for a memoir-able final lap before the finale. Oh and there’s some casual waterboarding during the mini challenge, but at least it comes with a trip to Puerto Vallarta! Nymphia discusses the challenges of meeting Western beauty standards with Matt Rogers, Sapphira slues her way to the top, Q takes a bite out of soup, Plane finally descends to the bottom 2 and RuPaul gets his life as director of those photo shoots.

Sisters are doing it for charity this season of All Stars, and the stakes have never been lower! But honestly, it’s kind of nice to just watch a variety show for the next couple months, especially with a cast this solid. Episodes 1 and 2 both dropped in the wee hours of the morning so we’re covering both in a supersized episode this week. We got two hours of familiar faces reading, singing, dancing, sewing, painting, literally painting, lip syncing and scissoring one another and we can’t really complain, except maybe it could have been shorter? (Here comes that Change.org petition.) We’d like to know so much more about Shannel’s Christmas house. Also, Roxxxy Fucking Andrews, a very important moment of appreciation for Shelly Williams, a look back at our own art histories, a potential Jump in the Line bracket and the power of a hanky.

We get twice the tickled ivories this week when two Liberaces show up on Snatch Game of Love. Personally, we have dibs on Marla Gibbs and whatever she’s got in that shoulder bag. Thanks to Shannel, we spend some necessary time on both the expression and the movie “in the cut” and Jorgeous inspires us to revisit an internet legend. We also figure out who Roxxxy looks like in her confessionals, and of course can’t resist a tangent on Terrence. Inevitably we end up talking at some point about Vanjie’s fever dream of a WOW+ dating show again, but we also cover the night of 1000 reveals, Gottmik running away with the runway theme and the perils of doing imaginary characters on Snatch Game.
