Arfon's bio:
I'm responsible for integrating AI into the core GitHub experience, partnering closely with design, engineering, and our scientists and GitHub and Azure AI. My current focus is on Copilot Enterprise – GitHub's most advanced AI offering to date – infusing GitHub Copilot throughout the software development lifecycle.
I'm an experienced leader and strategist with extensive product, data science, and engineering experience with a particular focus on open source. I've worked at organizations of very different sizes, scales, and sectors. Most recently I founded and led the Data Science Mission Office at STScI (stsci.edu) in Baltimore, the home of the James Webb and Hubble Space Telescopes and other flagship NASA science missions.

She is committed to diversity and fostering young talent, with a focus on innovation, trust, and transparency. As an entrepreneur, Elizabeth has founded various successful enterprises, including her own life sciences consultancy business.
