Christopher Maling is a Principal at Avison Young's Downtown Los Angeles office, specializing in investment sales of various properties including apartment buildings, retail shopping centers, office buildings, and industrial office warehouse properties throughout Southern California and nationally. He has extensive experience with 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, receiverships, foreclosures, and Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcies.

He has also won sales recognition awards virtually every year since 1993 and has closed more than $3 billion in sales during his commercial real estate career. He was previously an Executive Vice President at Colliers International and a commercial real estate investment broker at Marcus & Millichap's Los Angeles office.
