This week's Luvva Cover is fascinating. A hit single by Lesley Gore in 1963 became an anthem for the second feminist wave. The black, gay artist serpentwithfeet has made a brilliant cover version, melded it with one of his own songs, and placed it full square in a modern context.

Karen Dalton wrote poems and lyrics but never had the chance to record one of her own songs - only songs by other song writers. The Breath have taken one of her beautiful lyrics and set it to music - it's stunning!
