We wrap our "Voices from Lily Dale" mini-series with Reverends Janice Dreshman and Kris Seastedt - a one-two punch of registered mediums and certified Fairyologists who also run a salt cave (KRAN KAVE) out of their residence in Lily Dale.
Bios:
Rev. Dr. Janice L. Dreshman, is a registered medium in Lily Dale, who has worked with people from all over the world. In addition to her service as a professional medium and an ordained minister, Janice has worked with children, adolescents, adults, the elderly and the military for more than thirty years. Much of this work has focused on coping with trauma, crisis, grief, risk prevention and psycho-spiritual transformation. Janice was recognized for her work both nationally and internationally when she received the Crystal Award. She was also the recipient of the General Colin Powell Leadership Award for her work with families, the community and the military. She is the co-author of the books "Caring in Times of Crisis: and “Can you ask my Dad what it’s like in Heaven.

Rev. Kris Seastedt, is a registered Lily Dale Medium and a Certified Fairyologist. Kris’ Swedish and Irish background allows her to incorporate the richness of her heritage into her expertise with especially with fairyology. Kris has taught college level courses in both Astrology and meditation. She has also led development circles. Her work at Chautauqua Institution included running the Welcome Center and conference, services team and groups sales. Along with Jan, Kris is also the co author of two CD’s Fairy Elements & Meditation and Shamanic Drumming & Elemental Mediation; and the co creator of the KRAN Fairy Deck Cards and the KRAN Ancient Wisdom Deck Cards.

Sometimes co-host Cuyle Carvin rejoins me to interview actor friend Gene Silvers about a crazy year in 2020 that had personal lows and career highs. In part 1, Gene talks about what its like being a controversial character on the supernatural series "Them" on Amazon - and why he almost refused the part. Gene also talks about his other big break - a role on "Mosquito Coast" on Apple plus TV - which he almost lost due to a near-fatal skiing accident. Finally Gene shares a personal paranormal encounter that's not to miss. In part 2 (soon to be released), we dive deep into Gene's spiritual journey into India and his mind-bending experiences with mysticism.
About Gene Silvers

Gene was born and raised in Long Beach, NY. After an epiphany on stage, Gene decided he wanted to be an actor. Years later he was working on TV and on stage in NYC. Several appearances on Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, Third Watch, Guiding Light, and then on Broadway in 2009 for “Irena’s Vow” - a play about the Holocaust starring Tovah Feldshuh.

Most recently he booked two big roles: Elder Luther in Amazon Prime's “Them” which was the number 1 show on Amazon for several weeks, as well as Sheriff “Gene Silvers” on Apple plus TVs “Mosquito Coast.

A magician, photographer and avid skier, Gene also has an interest in mysticism and has lived in India in an Ashram for long periods of time.
