The first principle I talk about in this episode is the corruptibility of human nature and how power corrupts even the most virtuous and well intentioned. The Constitution was structured to prevent even the best-intentioned people from exceeding their authority.
The second principle I talk about is how without property rights and government protection of those rights, your right to life and liberty are seriously threatened. Property doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it is the linch pin of all the other rights. Listen on to find out why that is.
