A Single Serving Podcast

Jess Wilkins is a friend of the podcast. She's also a friend of your host that's been keeping her company from afar during a global pandemic. Never more than a "hey friend" text away, Jess joins the podcast as its first-ever recurring guest to discuss topics that have been coming up for us during this socially distant time. We dive deep into quarantine beauty, self care, street harassment, and underpants. There's a lot happening, get in here.
Post-recording update from Jess re: Static Nails: "Nail review: Press on nails are great for now but they will never be as perfect a fit as professionally done acrylics. There are nail sites that allow you to measure your nail bed and get more of a custom fit, but as kind of a lazy bitch who is in quarantine, I shan't be doing all that mess. With that being said, Static Nails are perfectly fine if you like a more subdued nail design and length. Tres She nails were a better fit, again not perfect, but better and they have more fun tacky bitch long nails which I enjoy. So as a matter of tacky preference, I'm rocking with Tres She."

Make Me Laugh

Pierre Novellie is a London-based standup comedian and host of one of your hosts favorite podcasts, BudPod, together with his friend and fellow standup Phil Wang. He joins the podcast today to answer listener questions about the single guy perspective and experience, and also to indulge your host in chatting about comedy and British/American linguistics for awhile. An excellent listen for anyone interested in how single men are experiencing social distancing, or even just being a single person in Normal Times. His podcast, linked below, is ideal for anyone in isolation who needs a genuine laugh. So basically...all of us.

No Twitter Before Bed!

Kimmy Foskett and Liza Renzulli are the hosts of 51 First Dates and also just two human beings your podcast host enjoys hanging out with. We'll of course use the term "hanging out" loosely because...pandemic. Through the magic of technology and Liza helping your host record three people at the same time, this week's episode covers a lot of quarantined ground. If you're feeling isolated, frustrated, or it's just too quiet in the house, press play and hang out with us. Let's be concerned, freaked out, mildly productive, and somehow optimistic together.
