Garden of Quilts Recap, Family Favorites Sew-Along, and Quilting History Resources

In this episode, Sherri and Chelsi announce an upcoming sew-along they will be participating in with Chelsi's Brightly quilt from their new book, Family Favorites. Books are available now, and the sew-along will begin after Laguna Sunrise fabric has finished shipping. Fat Quarter Shop will be hosting this fun sew-along. Sherri then recaps her recent trip to the Garden of Quilts festival in Thanksgiving Point Utah. She had the opportunity to teach several classes at this year's event and had a great time doing so. She was also able to meet up with old acquaintances and meet some other accomplished quilters for the first time. Billy then shares some quilting history resources he has recently come across. These include two quilting documentaries and an interview with Ken Burns where he discusses his quilt collection that was once featured at the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska.
