3. Tom and Gerri (Inside Series One, Episode Three)
Tom is a teacher. He wants to be a writer. He lives with his girlfriend, Gerri who has just got a new job playing a WW2 character called D Day Dorris. While she is out, a homeless man called Migg find's Tom's wallet and returns it. Wanting to repay his honesty, Tom, gives him some money. Wanting to repay his generosity, Migg, buys Tom a bottle of whisky. Tom invites him in for a quick drink, he then ends up moving in, as Tom embarks on a downward spiral into the life of an alcoholic author...much like his hero, Charles Bukowski.
