The bill would have sped up election results to same-day reporting and secured elections from illegal voting. The only reason to kill it? Because secure elections interfere with rigged systems, and rigged systems are good business.

That brings us to the larger pattern—states lining up to block Trump’s deportation executive orders with arguments so weak they collapse under a light breeze. The reason? These governors are owned. In Arizona, it’s the Sinaloa Cartel protecting its trafficking routes.
